RAT Magic Text Improvisation Movement: Conference Shapes so Far

So.... We seem to be covering a lot of territory here. That's good.
That's very good.
Here's the sense I have so far:

Primal Theater: Ritual / Magic / Anarchy / Dream
Where the audience are drawn in by combinations of sound, speech, music
and move into trance / spiritual space
-- Workshop & performance. (Ritual Theater)(Alfred Vitale, Gaby, others
want to be involved?)
-- Ritual Potluck (I'm not kidding. This is what interactive dinner
theater is based on. Anyone interested in putting something together than
involves interactive performance while we're eating lunch?)
-- Erik's can-do spanish mysticism for writers

Textual Theater: Text-Based experience: plays, hip-hop,
Where the audience is expected to listen (at some level) and, perhaps, to
understand
-- We have the Carriage Ride performance sequence (lots of pieces --
mostly text-based, we assume)
-- Workshop/ performances on the crossover between text and movement?

!!! Missing are forms like partly scripted partly improvised text /
comedy, etc.


Practical Theater:  Performance Issues and Practices
-- Solo Performance
-- The theater director and the community
-- How we screwed up
-- Self-evaluating experimental performance and its effect on the
audience.
