i am going to get a few people together to participate
(the "Moorish Orthodox House of Anarchism, Mysticism
and Discord" MOHAMAD for short).  the 6 of us have
done many rituals together and our backgrounds are
diverse...and all of us have organized group rituals
and performed ritual in various ways. what i was
hoping to do was hold a sort of workshop/talk/ritual
assemblage which would incorporate some of the ideas
of the Night of 1000 Heresies (which i organized early
last year) and some ritual tech and performance. no
structure set as of yet, but we'll figure something
out. i'm going to try and make it to the next meeting
here in philly this coming wednesday.

we've done what i call a "divination
orgy"...essentially, you walk around and mingle, find
a partner (or partners) and perform divination with
them (tarot, runes, tibetan mo sticks, i ching,
whatever). could be part of the "potlatch" (giving the
gift of a reading is great fun and puts strangers into
interesting relationships). maybe this can be part of
it?
