I Have to say- I dig the completeness vibe...but
I think there are different kind of completeness. I think no work of art is ever
finished, but it can still be 'ultimatly' complete in the sense that it
encompasses an entire, thought (whether it's fully understood or not...).
Complete as in it all makes a kind of beautiful, amazing sense of truth- yes,
truth integrity consistancy and POWER.

it is a strange, dynamic sort of completion, that has to do with
integrity, truth, consistancy, purity.. I mean, don't tell me you
haven't sensed this ever? In a song, in an album, in a symphony, an
actor,... Sensed THIS IS IT, what in Noh is called the Flower?
Yes. Especially from Russian and French actors.
French in the movies, Russians on stage. Raul Julia in Threepenny Opera.
Raul Julia in Betrayl. Michael Gambon in Galilao. John Zorn, the musician.
Peter Brook's Lear. Pat Methany in concert. Duke Ellington in concert.
John Cage in concert. Eric Bogosian when he was at PS 122. Karen Finley
playing at Clubs, like The Tunnel back in the days. The Chekhov Theatre in
Vladivostok doing Lower Depths. The Sovremennik Theatre of Moscow doing
Three Sisters. Ohio Impromptu at the Harold Clurman Theatre directed by
Alan Schneider. Meeting Lotte Lenya. Steppenwolf's Balm in Giliad.
Steppenwolf's Orphans. Steppenwolf's Grapes of Wrath.
There are
moments that 'feel complete' on the receiving side of it. And there are
moments of inspired playing on stage. Yes. But in the midst of the doing,
I cannot call it complete. Ever. It rings Result to me. I believe the
universe is ever unfolding. I cannot call it complete. Complete rings
finite to me, and so it's not for me. If it works for you, then good.
In the way that the lotus flower is forever opening, so. I think we
are nodding similar here. And you have a beautiful way of saying all this,
