Think about it in terms of plain old good acting -
What's clearer, more exciting, more relevant on the stage:

Going after what you really want?
Or taking the less interesting choice, playing it safe, and allowing your 
objective to be based on the idea of NOT DOING something?

ie, my motivation is: "I DON'T want Bush in the White House" 
or
my objective is: "I WANT Nader in the White House or I WANT a real discourse 
on the issues that concern me or..."

Make decisions based on love and hope, not fear...
To make decisions based on fear is to have lost already.

It seems to me that the reason so many of us don't vote is because we feel 
impotent and hopeless.  So here's a chance to act in accordance with Hope, as 
opposed to  the depths of our very valid fears...
