Also, look at the Austin theatre community model. Connecting the music 
scene with the theatre scene. Bottom's Dream and Sun and Moon Press/ hook 
into the audiences of other alternative ("fringe") creativity. Austin 
obviously has a big music scene. They've hooked in. Boston has so much. 
University audiences? Hit the schools big time. Music scene,publishing 
scene(they are educated and spend money on the arts)hook into an 
alternative to the institutional  theatre there(including handing out 
flyers in front of A.R.T.) But you're absolutely right, it's the whole 
community that should unite first. Be as organized as the "moral majority."
