This was so lovely, Copy and forwarding finger action = Here! Here! vocal
accord.
I actually do believe and do that "getting" the audi-ence you want -- in my
case
labor unions -- to sponsor and their members to participate is much harder,
requires
much more craft, experience, dues paying, blood, sweat, and tears, and T I M
E (God
knows that's why I'm guilt riddenly R & R-ing rediscovering you guys here)
than
what I get and am dying to give for free. And thank you very much for that
from
Loyola.
In re which and on Iowa, Erik, my life has mainly been about negating the
negation of those the first two authors on the reading list got "to hold onto
what they got" (tenure)
here by 'dis-ing.' So, while I love driving up the midwest in winter,
I'm demotivated at the thought of arguing to disentrall devotees of Arendt I
know
I'd feel compelled and incapable to do. Stalin and the Red Army probably
weren't
as wonderful as the Newsreels et al US media painted them during WWII, but
equating
fascism with communism, and Hitler with Stalin has had bad bad effects.
There's a demo on the street in front of my building. Now sirens.
Got to go check it out.
