RE: hey, what's new in RATdom?

Does that mean I get Moving Arts next or Valorie and the kids?

Actually, I've been meaning to post a followup to the smart-alecky response
below. It was quite good to read about that Mac Wellman piece and an actual
theater event as opposed to Mayor G., who might be quite a terror in NYC but
means next to nothing to this Arkansas Razorback (well he did show up here for
a photo op/PR spin with our governor to counter Hillary's carptebagging ways
and it went over like lead cheese grits).

I wanted to talk about Wellman, who obviously has a lot of fans on this list
but leaves me cold. I saw a fine production of his "Murder of Crows" at the
Undermain in Dallas many years ago. Fine production but I walked out of there
shrugging my shoulders. Now I'm no expert on Wellman and don't know of his
latest pieces (funny, they don't play here a lot), but I'm wondering if the
RATs who like his stuff like it because it doesn't make sense or because they
can see sense in it or what. It seems clear that Wellman is quite popular
among a sizeable group and I'm curious as to why.

So there's a theatrical topic that can be picked over or ignored as the list
sees fit.
