All argument about alternative vrs. status quo aside,
I'd just like to suggest to Paul and all of us to
avoid disparaging HYPE.  

Hype makes the theatre world go round.  Hype is
high-octane gasoline to the Fancy Car that is Theatre,
the powdered donuts to our fat-assed cop, the amber in
our waves of grain, the deuterium in our H-bomb! 
Without hype, no one goes to the shows. 

ALL HAIL HYPE!!!
