Re: casting call for PhilaRAT late night program
You had me until you said "I will also ask my naked
actors to act with clothes on, in other plays."
I'm sorry. I just have very strict standards about
consenting to act with my clothes on. The piece has
to be artistic, there has to be compelling reason for
me to be wearing clothes, and I need some assurance
that both the audience and my fellow artists backstage
will view my "clothedness" with maturity and respect.
I know this is an extreme view, but frankly I think
there's been far too much gratuitous clothing in both
film and theatre of late.
