I agree with both/all your points.   Vis a vis, who gets to decide what or 
who's interesting?    That's clearly subjective.  

The problem with Internet "films" is that anyone can post them.  More bad 
noodling to avoid. (Mostly.)    And televised theatre is an oxymoron.

Agree that theatre is defined as an exchange between 
 (at least) an actor and an audience member.   And that web broadcasts are 
broadcasts, not theatre.


As for "cheers," it's making the colloquial rounds, just as the phrase "my 
bad" is.

Cheers is, I believe, a European convention.  It means "goodbye" and "I need 
a drink desperately."

The proper farewell remains, of course --

Yours 'till Niagara Falls.
