RAT Big Art Group Newsletter

Howdy Rats.... Here is what me and Big Art Group have been up to... We got a
little national press rec in American Theatre this month where one of our
actors, Jeffrey Rose, was featured and mentioned us and our show. Anyway
read our newsletter if you like our nuke us with you delete button.

bigart.doc: 03.01
big art group's monthly newsletter keeping you up to date on our
company and projects.

This month we have news on Shelf Life, bigartgroup.com, Big Art Group
in the Press, Websites of note, and as always
the Recommended List

SHELF LIFE:
Everything is beginning to click into place. The piece is staged, which
is a huge feat (you'll know what we mean when you see it). Our
sound effects are pumping and the costumes are twisted (as per
our usual). BIG NEWS! We have a new Lighting Designer, Erik Bruce.
He has been designing and touring with companies such as
Robert Wilson/Phillip Glass, Laurie Anderson, and The Builders
Association for the last ten years. So mark your calendars. It's only
three weeks until we open at the Kraine Theatre on March 29th, 2001.
So save the date... Shelf Life is the biggest and best of big art group
to date! If you want to receive a postcard, send us your snail mail
address via email at info@bigartgroup.com. Here is the description
of the piece once again. See you there.

WASTE MANAGEMENT AND SELF WORTH

Watch a live movie unfurl on stage, a film in which the desperate James,
Wendy, and Max, living in an intensely disposable world, become obsessed
with the alluring Frankie. Each tries to possess and mold her in the form of
their own media-induced desires, even as she uses them as a means to
her own consumptive ends. Fueled by jealousy, rage, and betrayal, this
"love quadrangle" ignites into a bizarre and tragic struggle over the
ownership of happiness. Big Art Group's newest play dives deep into our
garbage-loving culture and tells a tender cinematic love story doomed to
sour in Shelf Life.
