How very odd & coincidental.  I was in a production of "Scenes" when I was
in college at Sarah Lawrence (as a female Urgentino,) and then directed an
award-winning production of it to open Zoo District's first season in 1998
in Los Angeles.

I also have a past with the Horace Mann Theater & Columbia.  I attended my
first year of college there in 1987 and then transferred to SLC in
Bronxville when I found myself unable to live without theatre.  (Columbia
College was devoid of any real theatre program for several years, but began
one shortly after I left.)  Ironically, the first production that I did
after I graduated from SLC was a one act festival at the Horace Mann
Theater. I believe the play was called "KQ & Jasper" or something.

Anyway, to top off all oddities, although I now live in Los Angeles, I
happen to be in New York for the next three months as I have been hired to
teach reading enrichment to kids in the tri-state region.  Although I'm up
here in Mamaroneck, if I can manage it, I'll try to get down to see your
show; it seems there are too many forces at work for me to ignore the signs.

come check out SCENES FROM AN EXECUTION, a fascinating very naked play about
the morality of art and the politics of morality. It was written by British
playwright Howard Barker (author of "Arguments for a Theater"), and directed
by me.

there are only five performances, this coming week.

Wed-Fri (Nov 15-17) at 8pm, and Sat (Nov 18) at 3 & 8.

At the Horace Mann Theater, 120th Street & Broadway (north east corner),
