This is not Scott Stein's first play. He has written others, including
CHINA HANDS at the Mandell Weiss Forum Studio in La Jolla and BAD
FAMILY, ALL YOU CAN EAT and CUPS AND BALLS at the Fritz Theater in San
Diego. He is a graduate of Princeton University and UCSD's MFA Program
in Theatre. He is single, living in Los Angeles, and enjoys video games
and the New York Jets.
"Stein’s got…lively rhythms…self-lacerating humor and intelligence."
-SD UT
Multiple identities...time travel...pimps...grandmothers...Jews celebrating
Christmas... Enter a world of autobiography gone awry...of a narrator's
storytelling fractured into five individuals all claiming to be Scott
Stein, all telling different stories...all lies.
"A clever, provocative comedy"
-SD UT
"Director Katie Rodda...stages scenes with surprising poignancy."
