fun house style is an eccentric love story about two small town twenty-somethings who are trying to Make Their Mark in a faithless and chaotic world. Betsy and Clyde are having problemsthe least of which is the eviction notice that has been brutally nailed to their front door. Betsy, a shut-in who lost her marbles during story time at her day care job, is zeroing in on the biggest smell known to man (a.k.a. The Big Stink) and her boyfriend Clyde has a new plan (a.k.a. The Big Bang) that will rocket him to cult star status. In a surreal landscape of talking radiators, noisy neighbors, and Guinness Book of World Record pursuits, Betsy must remember that some stinks are worth smelling or the Earth will blow sky high.
fun house style is also part of the Edge of the World Festival 2000, a city-wide celebration of the vibrant and diverse Los Angeles theatre community. From November 9-19, 2000 explore the cityıs best and brightest. For more information, check out the web site: www.edgeoftheworld.org or call 310.251.7920.
