Untold Stories of the United States
Players’ Theatre
Long Beach, CA.

Group Readings; A comprehensive 3 week process to examine the plays, and hear 
the voices of America’s new playwrights through scene-study, cold-readings, 
exercises, and text analysis. Undergraduate acting students from California 
State University- Long Beach meet during the week, and present public 
readings on 3 consecutive Mondays at noon in the Players’ Theatre.  Admission 
is free.

Staged Readings: Under the direction of Dr. Howard Burman, and Dr. Joanne 
Gordon, the CalRep acting company will collaborate with local professional 
actors to give voice to the evolving canon of new plays from Germany.
