1- i have to be passionate about the project.  so i can see it through.
2- i have to feel like it's something an audience will want to see.  i can't 
be the only person in the world interested in it.  i'm in a relationship with 
the audience and their part in the work is extremely important.
3- then, i have to try to do things in a new way.  either something that 
hasn't been attempted or at least inspired by something amazing someone else 
is doing or trying.
