Re: RAT Fwd: ZNet Update / Arrestees in Philly, Action Urgently
Regardless of who you decide to vote for, one thing you can do is go to
the Nader website (www.votenader.org) and sign the petition to have Ralph
take part in the national debates. Right now, a bi-partisan committee
(Democrats and Republicans only) decide on who gets to play. They recently
raised the threshold of support that needs to be met in order for a
candidate to participate to 15% (in five national polls). This, of course,
is meant to keep any third party candidate right where they are- third-
and a distant third at that. Why would mainstream America vote for someone
who doesn't have the stamp of legitimacy that the debates provide?
People deserve access to new ideas. I urge you to sign the petition.
Respectfully,
Paul
