RAT rights question?

Actually 2 questions, but one is tied to the other:

does anyone know if the amateur rights for godot are as strict as the stock
rights. I want to do a non-traditional version of the play(set and casting
including) and know that with the stock rights you are bound to the
script... can not deviate in any way from it(as far as costuming, set,
casting, etc.), and wanted to know if the amateur rights are as strict?

question 2:

if they are as strict as the stock rights could anyone recommend a play
along the same vein as godot... one which i would have the ability to cross
gender casting freely, i have a few in mind but suggestions are always
welcome

thanks in advance,

jeff
