This is such a tricky issue, and has relevance to us here in Philly,
too, given our proximity to NY.  I've been of the opinion that loyalty
to a production or company must be cultivated interpersonally, and
wouldn't favor the codification of of an actor's obligation in favor
either of higher-paying gigs or first dibs.  I realize (first-hand) my
outlook could encourage conflict in any situation where said loyalties
haven't been directly addressed.  Nevertheless, I prefer to see the
ethics on this issue managed situationally rather than legislated.

But I'm very open to other perspectives, at this point.
