The Book I think you are searching for is called THE BAD INFINITY , 
Published by Johns Hopkins University Press.  In his  intro, Mac 
calls it a "trip through the medium of Bad Language. " ,In a recent 
American Theatre interview, he explains that when he wrote TERMINAL 
HIP, he was  under  a great deal of pressure- comiisions, articles, 
teaching and the like. To  relieve the stress, he set aside two hours 
a day  (morningss) to write as badly as he possibly could. After a 
few wees of this he began to notice patterns in the bad writing. From 
these patterns sprung TERMINAL HIP.
