-lasting impressions: whom among us would deny that we are still in the
thrall of The Show every single day?

(will replace this nomination with serious propositions regarding the
Kennedy assassination--now there's a piece of Theatre--from proven
non-conspiracty theorists)

+ you know what last night i finally read this Nabokov short story in a book
of short stories I'd been putting off so dictionary by my bed I tackled it &
I'm so glad I bit the bullet cuz it was _rewarding_ in this one sentence he
goes, when politix is applied to art it reduces art to idealogical trash. Or
something like that.
