Oh, that's EASY.  Personally, whenever I'm short on facts, I always trot out Hitler and the Nazis. Hitler has messy hair and big purple bags under his eyes, and all the Nazis have wrinkled uniforms, but I still always win the argument, hands down.

"I hate Tina Howe's plays." 
"You're just like HITLER AND THE NAZIS!"

"I always keep the stewed tomatoes and tomato soup on my kitchen shelves separated."
"That's just like HITLER AND THE NAZIS!" 

"I always fold my underwear before putting it in the drawer."
"But...that's just like HITLER AND THE NAZIS!" 


If you have relatives who died at Auschwitz for liking Tina Howe plays, you should make this fact known, as it will further cinch the argument.
