 The precepts that make up what we understand today as Christianity ( love
tht neighbor as thyself, turn the other cheek...) those precepts existed
long before they were codified into a religion called Christianity.   In
fact, Monica Sjoo, in her book  the Cosmic Egg, makes  a compelling
argument  for a pacifist , matriarchal  society in Ancient Sumer that was
based on these principles.

 Just as Marx most likely wouldn't be a Marxist- I doubt that the
historical Jesus would find much common ground with Randall Terry.  One of
the things that I treasure is about Erik is  that his fundamental value
structure   seems to espouse these very pre-institutional Christian  mores.
 The communalists in the caves, if you will. This is a  part of history
that hs been erased  by time, yet Erik , in his small way, is (re)
presenting it.  Oh, by the way- down with tickets.
