Re: RAT: politix in theater space (ready your delete)
and for a more performative non-theatrical theatre experience, go check out
Manhattan's own SURVEILLANCE CAMERA PLAYERS. to find them, visit
www.abcnorio.org, select "blackout books' execellent links", then click on
NOT BORED! under the publications heading. There are articles and pictures
of these base and altogether immature performers disrupting the cold eye of
NYC surveillance cameras by imposing their message upon their audience (of
cops).
LOADS OF FUN!
david.
ps. i once baby sat for mr. richard "tricky dick" schechner's and his
tenured riding wife dr. carol martin's child sophie (back in the day when
she was only 8 years old). among other observations of mr. schechner --
including his half- resurrections of dead classics for his wiser than thou
bored audience of ex-hippies turned professionals -- i can say with
conviction that the man is a firm and resolute fat bastard.
