RAT Collage

I'm not crazy about "collage" theatre. "The Civil War" was described as "an
emotional tapestry through the Civil War." I didn't see it but I bet that's
why it didin't work. Take "Private Ryan" as an example of how to show the
emotions of war through a plot. It wasn't a collage of WWII, it was a story
of a mission to put several lives on the line for one life and how those
lives dealt with that mission. The "emotional tapestry" of WWII was in the
background where tapestries do their best work in theatre (or film).
