Hi all. 

Been lurking a while and thought I'd jump in here. I happened to see a 
workshop production of Lillian Garrett-Groag's new play Midons at the 
Actor's Gang the other night -- the last piece in the Taper New Work 
Festival. An dazzling fable of ideas about the troubadours, 
the Crusades, romantic love and the 12th century, as well as the 20th. 
Most remarkable was that the ideas came through not the head, as often 
seems the case in idea plays, but the skin. I don't know how she did 
it but the result was pretty amazing, at least to me. Look for this 
when it surfaces again.
