  Your mistake. Wasn't attempting to be witty. You got the sarcasm part
right, though. My point, and maybe I should have spelled it out more
specifically, is that if one is going to make such broad generalizations
about an entire group of people (all cops are cops because they were
abused as children) and assume them to be true, then the opposite could
be equally true just as easily. (All protesters are tree-hugging
newagers.) In other words, you original post was, IMHO, twaddle. My guess
is the answer lies somewhere down the middle. You're the one who pointed
out the tree, Bill, I merely followed you out onto the limb. And to
answer your question about where the "tired, 60's cliches" come from? Um.
They came from the 60's.  And, sorry, I confess to total ignorance of who
Bobby Brady is.
