Re: Re: RAT Hello Seattle

I work with Special Ed kids in the public schools and today I heard from one
of the assistants who took his deaf and blind student for a walk on Madison
on Capitol hill and was harrassed by protesters who thought the kid was
handcuffed and that the teacher was an undercover cop or something. The kid
walks with his hands behind his back and the teacher guides him by his elbow.
The teacher was totally freaked out and almost got beat up as the one
protestor tried to get two guys to release the 'poor victim'. This story made
me laugh for some time. Things have gotten carried away here and the Unions
have been forgotten. I was at the March and all was lovely till the tear gas
came out. I am still trying figure it out but was pretty frustrated by the
few punks who changed the focus from protest for the'people' to indulgent
personal release.

(Chris Mac. are you heading to Iowa? Call me, sweetie, mama wants to know.)
