RAT Re: A-Team

"I'm pretty sure that Shakespeare was the NYPD
Blues, Fraiser and E.R. of his day at the very least. I can pretty much
guarrentee you that the A Team will not be remembered in 400 years."

In this case, I have your back, John. Rod Serling is the best teleplaywright
I can think of (of course, it's only a matter of opinion), and even HE seems
like a Lilliputian besides Shakespeare. Although at the Museum of TV and
Radio I saw a 1950s production of a Freidrich Durenmatt play starring Ernie
Kovacs! This was a prime-time network tv show, sponsored by G.E.! Can you
imagine such a thing now? The mind boggles to think what television might
have been...or might be. But tho' the A-Team will be long-forgotten, the
photo of Nancy Reagan sitting on Mr. T's lap will be cherished for years to
come.
