I much prefer "casting" the people for the reading that I'd also "play" with,

but there are AEA rules about casting, etc.

Could you elaborate on the AEA rules? What about four actors who have survived
two directors who didn't? Doesn't such valor deserve an audition with a third
body? Am I naive to even suggest it? Linda Jo listening from Cape May?
