Opening Night RAT Conference Potluck



A # 1, please feel free to forward this invitaion to anyone and everyone
you know who might be interested

B # 2, here's the schedule for the opening day of the RAT Theatre
Conference, LA.  if you or your friends are coming to the POt Luck on
Thursday (oh please, oh please) you need to email or call me ASAP at 
213 427 9323 to tell me what you would like to bring.  we could use more
desserts, drinks, salads and bread.:

1-2:30  p.m.      RAT Feet: co productions within a national assembly of 
						artists and how to use the conference to set it up.

2-3:30 p.m.      "RATs Nest - How to Work Within an Institution
and 										Still Be a Rat"(Caridad Svich, L.A. playwright)
 
4-6 p.m        "RAT del Arte Workshop"(Mark Seldis, Actors' Gang, L.A.)
 
6-8 p.m.       Pot Luck Feast!!! 
               RAT Tradition, host community feeds our visitors.
 
              	"High Cheeze Challenge" - cunning cheap solutions to 
					impossible stage directions.  A performance challenge 							
issued to competing teams of directors, designers, 									playwrights,
and actors; results presented late night on 							Saturday.  (Matthew
Bretz, Circle X, LA)
 
8-10 p.m.      PERFORMANCE:  "Stations of Desire:  Saints, Sinners, and 
					InBetween," world-premiere performance with actors from 							
across the country of an online text collaboration by 								Neena
Beber, Cusi Cram, Jorge Cortinas, Heather Dundas, 								Julie Hebert,
Julie Jensen, Ruth Margraff, Rachelle 									Minkoff, Anne Garcia
Romero, Kate Snodgrass, Caridad 									Svich, Candido Tirado, and
Elizabeth Wong, developed with											 																						support
of the Mark Taper Forum, L.A.
 					(directed by Mitchell Gossett, Bottom's Dream, L.A.;

 10-11:30 p.m.  "RATs After Dark - Late-Night Programming Roundtable" - 
					successful models/cash cows of late night performance.
