What can be constructive to Paul's comment is dealing with that damn word 
again. "Alternative" We've rejected it since Iowa. RAT was never meant to 
stand for alternative. Room And Transportation was the last official entry. 
I'm living that. we are trying to stay alive and do good work without killing 
ourselves. and of course, loving it. I think it interesting that Erik, ben, 
Lars and Nick will discuss why TCG has failed so many of us and thus the  
need for alternative support systems. (Even if that means ourselves)(rat) And 
yet...there's so much more...ASK is one amazing support system for new 
theatre work. Who does more? I wouldn't be doing theatre in LA anymore if it 
weren't for the care ASK has shown us and the community. This HUGE community. 
I want to do good work for the good folks at ASK to see. They are my audience.
