I'm sorry, but I have to cry BULLSHIT

This is a list of the most mainstream fare L.A. Theater has to offer, for 
some reason wrapped in the romantic cloak of "ratness"

from A.S.K. (one of the bigger financial forces in L.A. Theater) to a 
workshop with the playwright in residence at the Mark Taper Forum - and a 
discussion involving the heads of T.C.G. and Theatre L.A., Inc.

this may be a convocation of interesting theater people, but there is 
absolutely nothing alternative about it......it's about as status quo as 
things get here.....sure, come on out everyone and have a great time at the 
beach.....but if any of you are sincerely coming out here looking for this 
"rat" thing - be forewarned that you're getting wanked by hype queens.....
