Re: RAT WORDS
When the server went down last year, Barry went back to the old way, where
each of us had just a long header of email addresses instead of the
rat-list proper. His daily journal, written often in the middle of the
night in late council with Catherine, was something akin to one of those
dreamcatchers. Making real what could have been lost, it was invaluable
even to those who were there living/dreaming the ten day experience. His
journal is archived at:
http://www.ratconference.com/rowell.htm
TheRatMobile is in actuality a digital generator of boundless capabilities.
Journal entries and pix of the Conference will be manifold and published
daily on the World Wide Web. Josh has actually already written one entry,
unpublished but ready to activate when the RatMobile fires up. For him the
road trip to the Rat Conference began last month when he met Gaby and I in
Dublin. One day on the way back from a pilgrimage to St. Kevin's Cave in
the Irish countryside, we stopped for a pint of black RatSass stout in the
small town named Hollywood. There in the pub was a plaque of sorts
explaining how Hollywood CA came to be named after this little country
hamlet in Ireland. Very *strange* words to the three of us devising the
RatMobile convoy.
And speaking of words and names and definitions. Please all help us to
christen this convoy with the proper name. Some early suggestions are:
Road Kill Chili
As the Crow Flies
The Golden Age of the RatMobile
Convoy!!!
Dogs Pissing on Horses' Legs
