Hey Aileen -

How long will you be at Dell Arte?? Just a week or two? Shame you can't come 
further north o Seattle... (often there are SUPA CHEEP flights out of SF??) I 
assume you are staying out west long enough to make it to the Beach Blanket 
Ratathon...

by the way - tell me about Deconstructing Julie... last year 
(synchronistically enough) we took on Augie as well - mostly using his 
writing from his Parisian Inferno period, but using MJ and the prologue to A 
Dream PLay to examine what he put himself (and others around him) thru. Used 
three scenes(and used to have the dreams+ a dream of Sg's, but, well, they 
got cut.) Swapped the parts in Julie around, depending on the point we were 
making. Very much an associative event for the audience - a cumulative effect 
happened, not unlike what actually happens in dreams. Heard about a lot of 
interesting conversations later.
A physical fugue for three actors - me and two guys, painted mustaches and a 
giant box, a desk, two charis, a bed frame and threee footlight. Toured it in 
Canada and played it in Seattle.  Hmmm - maybe we should visit y'all in 
Philly and run the two in rep... :)

We'll be on the east coast in early June - we're performing our least 
physical show -(just leaping linguistically around) at Piccolo Spoleto in 
Charleston, SC. Then we're off to tour Canada(Saskatoon, Edmonton, trying out 
Calgary this year, then Vancouver- which runs simultaneously with SF.)
Then we're home, writing SNOW QUEEN and touring THE MASTER & MARGARITA, 
rehearsing HARD TIMES and MOBY DICK, then we go to Australia in FEb/March. 
THEN WE"RE TAKING TIME OFF>!!!!!!!
Yikes - I got tired just writing about this!!
