Hey Josh -

As someone who actually DID UWP(and no, I can't defend all they do - just the 
community action stuff, and the TRAVEL!) what exactly do you mean? Even in 
general terms ... - so sorry - I lost the analogous thread somewhere. 

(and in terms of artistic stuff, I thinkl i was singlehandedly responsible 
for making our first showmanager leave - challenging her 'Only pretty , 
skinny people can sing solos or do dances' attitude. I tend to think most 
people can acheive whatever it is they want, whether it's a million bucks or 
a Spanish-language solo.)

Now, I wonder if our generalizations about the Flanders and the Homers don't 
do as much damage? (Or about whether all parents of criminally active legal 
minors should all be prosecuted, etc., etc.) And yes, this cuts a lot of 
different directions. I certainly don't psychologically fit an Uppie profile, 
nor a Flanders. (I think more Sideshow Bob) but the work I do and the 
thoughts i think have led me to eventually seek and find this community of 
RATS, who are purebred, mongrel, mangy, well-fed(on chili, spaghetti and 
other edible art forms) and who digest all we inhale in hidden, unexpected 
ways......

hmmmmmmm - I need to think more about this...
