David,
I hope you don't direct young actors. You're response to my (I'll grant
you rather flip) request to explain your position to me in words that
would help me understand your point is a perfect example of how the hired
halls of academia (or their ilk) have almost single-handedly destroyed
what little creativity is left in our culture. Congratulations on further
cementing your distancing pedestal. I certainly never asked you to think
for me. Though it comes as no surprise that that's what you would have
concluded as that kind of thinking is part and parcel with that kind of
ego. And for me, David, school is never over. Life is a learning
experience and it's a shame I'll never glean knowledge from you. But
that's ok. Keep if for yourself only. Oh, and the others who have trained
themselves (or been trained) to think like you. Could someone out there
please define elitist for me?
As for my having proven the "principal of exclusion" in all things you,
once again, oh, slippery devil, have me by the short hairs. Sorry. I
don't know what it means. If anyone else would care to explain it that
would be lovely. Otherwise it will forever remain an open, public sore on
my untainted till now mask and I will hide my head in shame everytime I
walk into a theatre. Like the undereducated RAT bastard I have become.
(Glancing downward...kicking the dust...hands in pockets...jeez) And I
wholeheartedly disagree with you that a critic is the parasite of all
creativity. I think the over-intellectualizer is far more the leech. And
besides, David, what did I criticize? I posted a response to a post I
disagreed with. And I did it in a "creative" (Or are you criticizing me?)
way. If my posting a response reads as criticism to you, David, then I
think you need to get out more.
Yes. I came up with the pedestal image all by myself. Copyright 1902.
You like it? Whew. You don't "bother" me, David. I just don't like
complete strangers drawing conclusions about me from a few posts and then
handing out "advice" as to how to better my life. It's none of your
business and you don't know what you're talking about.
And since you have made it quite clear that it is not your "job" to
further my education, I gratefully refuse your final offer. It's just not
money to me. I will post what I post when I choose to post it and for
whatever reason. By the way, David, settle a bet for me...<do> you
direct?
That grinding sound you hear is your own,
