Re: RAT (as far as I can tell, about basically nothing at thispoint)
Aileen,
I know it may be hard to take, but some of the people on this list were
talking about the vagarities of High School and the awkward alienation that
every--every single--person in the USA goes through during that time in
their life even before you began ranting and raving about it. You did not
come in saying anything new, you just said it more self-importantly.
The difference between that and the current discussion is that we were
trying to find aesthetic (not emotional or theoretical, but aesthetic)
relationships between the experience, our understandings of the experiences
of the two boys in Denver, and our work in the theatre and now we are
sitting through longer and longer rants about everything from the
importance of the computer game doom in your life to what you and your
husband are having for dinner--then we were talking about theatre, now you
blast a 20 page spam at anyone who isn't talking about you. You're not
that interesting, Aileen. Why don't you let the "all about eilene" thread
go, at least for a little while, so we can talk about something the rest of
us can relate to.
