I am an American theatre-artist and I feel very strongly that the NATO bombing of your country is wrong. More than that, as a pacifist artist, I want all the killing to stop, on all sides. Kosovo, Sarajevo, Mostar, all of it. Killing by Serbs, Croats, Muslims, Americans, Brits, -- it doesn't matter who did what to whom when and where. It must stop now! An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. Please remember, here in America as ( I would assume) in Yugoslavia, the people do not necessarily agree with the actions of their government. As artists, can we go beyond the artificial construction of governments, (all governments) and stand together for peace throughout the world? That is my fondest hope.
