I've done two fringe festivals: edinburgh in 93 which was fun exciting
wonderful and lost me money
nyc in 97 which was almost fun, almost wonderful and lost me money, but an
agent fell in love with me and has begun the longest industry-flirt i've ever
been engaged in. they still love me and havent signed me. whatever. and i
lost money in nyc too.
so they arent about making a living but can advance your "contacts" base. and
more people will see your work. and you cna see some great and horrible shit
while you're there.
