Mancha! Mancha! Man!
I want to be La Mancha Man!
I was driving down the road the other night, the beer bottle cradled
between my legs. I was staring through Luna's garter belt. It draped the
rear view mirror and framed the plastic Jesus on the dashboard. That old
country song came on the radio. You know the one. It's about love gained
and lost. Before I knew it I was crying in my beer. I was always partial
to such sentiment and it had got me into big trouble many times before.
When I awoke this time from my self pity, I found that I was driving down
the wrong side of the road. I swerved quickly into the right lane. But
then I saw the sign.

As usual, the road that the rest of the world had built was wrong. But I
eased back into the left lane and tried to act like I belonged.
Luna, my sweet Luna. I alone know the road to your heart.
