RAT Vagabond - Shameless Promo #395

Hello Rats...

How many kind "solo" messages I have received this week. Thank you, thank
you, and thank YOU. I apologize that I've not answered each one
individually...I'm absolutely straight out (in fact I'm borrowing this
computer!)

In the last few days quite a few folks have (kindly) sent me messages saying
they'd like to see something I'm directing. Well...you have way too many
chances this month, as I'm doing way too much (thus my less aggressive
presence on line this month). But after March and early April I won't be
doing anything but teaching and studying for up to four months! So stand
invited to:

Tomorrow (Sunday) we close out at our home space, Montgomery County Cultural
Center, 208 DeKalb Street with: TALES OF THE FAIRY QUEEN (children's
interactive) at 2 p.m., and SOMEONE WHO'LL WATCH OVER ME at 8 p.m. (see
Philadelphia Inquirer for a relatively kind review from Doug Keating who came
on an off night) I co-wrote and directed the first very silly children's
piece, and directed the second.

Both shows continue running next weekend at Mill Hill Playhouse (Trenton, NJ)
and then at Theatre Double's space, 1619 Walnut Street, March 18, 19 and 20
(SOMEONE at 8 p.m.) and March 20 (FAIRY QUEEN at 2 p.m.).

I'm also directing yet another show for the Magnet Festival (at Mill Hill
Playhouse, Trenton) running March 14 through March 27 - the show is a one man
Irish show (only produced two other times folks is my understanding, so it
falls within that "3 productions" rule) - It's called A NIGHT IN NOVEMBER.

See a brand-spanking-new short work called DESERT by Daphne Hull at the Brick
Playhouse, in early April. I really like this one...and it's part of the
Independent Theatre Series, one weekend only - second weekend in April. This
one is making it's world premiere.

After that I take an acting and study sabatical until late summer... and then
(save me from RAT response) I direct AS YOU LIKE IT for summer outreach....
but if you have something you'd like me to direct (so that you can see this
big mouth with money in it) - don't hesitate to call. :-) I'm geared
especially towards small ensemble casts - actors who are interested in
exploring physical styles - and, just a reminder, I'm a workaholic.

Thanks again to all of those who sent such nice notes week off list...with my
exhaustion level, your desire to meet and drink together has been
rejuvinating. I shall endeavor in particular to accept all invitations which
involve imbibing large quantities of whiskey (preferably Jameson).
