RE: RAT Good writers
There is bad art. There is. There is some really BAD art. BAD. CRAPPY.
AWFUL.
There is also stuff I don't like that is Good art.
I admit that subjectively I can sometimes be temporarily confused sometimes
between the two.
But usually the BAD art is just plain BAD. BAD. I don't see much BAD art
because I don't seek out BAD art experiences but when I see it I certainly
know it.
How do I know? I know cuz its BAD! Hey you want an example? I haven't seen
it but I've seen the previews and I betcha "The Other Sister" is BAD ART.
And that's BAD art created by people who have done some good stuff.
"But no john, thats just your opinion...."
See, no, when I say bad I mean like incompetant. Like a failed sitcom writer
writes a two hour play about his divorce and casts some people who don't
know acting from a hole in their back and the set is all tin foil and a huge
pile of sand and the lights are bad so you can't see anything and the play
is AWFUL (Okay I just made that up but I bet you LA people thought I was
talking about some specific production). That is BAD ART. It exists. Really.
If you don't believe me I'll show you.
No, I won't life is too short.
