RAT Talking bout endo-colonization
Deep whoa.
I have noticed and am concerned about humankinds general, natural tendency
toward facism. People in general--not including free thinking crazies like
ourselves--like order and safety and are perfectly happy to give up their
freedoms, freedoms they don't use anyway, to get it. Thus you get flag
burning amendments and intrusive FDIC directives that don't really bother
the god fearing, law abiding masses.
So, just to play devils advocate, it seems to me that endo-colonization is
not necessary and smacks of a uber-conspiracy theory. Not necessary because
people in general are naturally well behaved and have been that way forever.
This whole individual human rights thing is a new idea that hasn't really
caught on yet.
The problem with a uber-conspiracy theory, as some smart someone pointed out
to me once, is that if you believe that "they" have all the power and are
smarter than everyone then you give up personal responsibility. Its
analogous to an inert, deaf, dumb and blind faith in God. On the other hand
conspiracy theory's are really fun. Or at least they were before they became
this pop cultural thing.
My two cents.
I hope you don't mind that I post this to the Rat-list. Maybe it'll distract
from the nasty navel staring threads
