Escalation occurs so quickly on these servers...and I've noticed it in
particular on servers that serve artists (such expressive folk, we...) ..we've
seen it before and we'll see it again.  Defensiveness is natural, I
guess...I've been trying to laugh at myself as often as I laugh at others
since the BIG blow round Philadelphia theatre way...and I find that helps.  Of
course, sometimes it just ads to the ESCALATION!  (Noone likes to be told "you
won't get hired if you keep saying that..."  believe me, I heard it several
times...and guess what, I'm working more now than I was then!)  Ha, ha.  Ain't
fate a fickle chickster.
