I understand Brad - but I think it's not about forgetting and getting on with
it - I think it's about not being stopped and continuing in FULL awareness -
and see how that changes your actions. I really like the idea of continuing
and talking about it in context and donating box office - I don't think
anyone is talking about business as usual....I also think public gatherings
are crucial....but I totally, totally emotionally understand your feelings
and emotionally agree - it's that contradiction, that ancient pathos (in the
true sense of the word - tearing apart - the roots of this thing we do) and
operating out of that which can maybe help us all grow.
What was that definition of tragedy - the affirmation of the will to live in
the face of death and the joy of its inexhaustibility...?
But everyone needs mourn how they most see fit - I just think it takes
different forms - but I really agree it can't just be business as usual -
fast food concepts...
