RAT 24th St. gathering

Title: 24th St. gathering
Okay folks, here's the latest about tonight's gathering at 24th Street.

If you're like us, you're probably experiencing both the speediness of adrenaline, oddly combined with a calm craving for human touch and conversation to stave off the numbness.  So we'll try to offer nourishment for both of these conditions tonight.

>From 7:30pm-8:30pm we'll meet for wine, hugs, and oh my gods...and more wine...

At 8:30pm Bindlestiff Cirkus will perform.  Their show is two acts (and remember, for audlts only).  We all understand that due to everyone's exhaustion and mood, some may wish to leave at intermission or wander back into the lobby for more wine and more chatting.  That is fine.

Due to the circumstances we will not be charging for tickets tonight.  Bindlestiff has generously agreed to sacrifice tonight's box-office revenue so that we could invite you all to come for free.  BUT we will pass the hat for whatever donations you may want to give at intermission, as they are much in need of $ after losing last night's pay (for a sold-out performance).   24th Street will, in turn, give all of tonight's donations to the performers.

Would love to see you.

Just bring the wine and forget the money. We have cups.   Let's gather!

Everyone is invited!

If you feel like being with your BCT brethren tomorrow (Wednesday) night, just c'mon to 24th Street Theatre.    Very easy to find and a VERY safe neighborhood.  I swear!  Ask anyone who has been there.   Just south of the 10 FRWY, at 24th & Hoover.   7:30pm

We'll laugh and hug and be humans again...

I'll let you all know about the Bindlestiff performance after I speak with them tomorrow.  But either way, c'mon over to 24th Street Theatre tomorrow evening and we'll hang.  It'll do many of us good to get away from the television and talk to like-minded theatre souls.

Bring food and drink if you have any laying around the house.

Jay,

Take care of the Bindlestiffs. And if tomorrow night's performance is also
canceled, how would you feel about Ms. Noon and I showing up with a bottle of
wine and inviting some other BCTr's and L.A. RATs to come sit in your theatre
and simply gather?  I'd still happily contribute $24 to the 24th
St/Bindlestiff coffers.
