RAT rat-nyc&the red cross

IN NYC:
Some friends and I have just been to the Red Cross building on Amsterdam Ave. and 66th Street.  They are (wonderfully) flooded with people wanting to give blood and they are requesting that people come back later this evening (9/11) or tomorrow, as the need for blood will continue.  
Also, they are looking for VOLUNTEERS.  Anyone can help out, they are asking for any skills-singing, dancing, sewing, heavy lifting, clerical whatever.  They especially need people who are FLUENT in a language other than English.  Please help out if you can.
