RAT Moving Arts Playreading 8/14

Hi RATs,

On Tuesday August 14 at 8:00 pm Moving Arts' Playreading Series continues
with a reading of
MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE SUPERLAIR, a comedy by Greg Kalleres, directed by
Michael Cooper.

A group of aging, powerless Superheroes struggle with the meaning of life,
as they protect a city with no crime. While they spend their days grocery
shopping, having relationship problems and seeing their therapists, the city
is experiencing a recession that may threaten their cushy job security. It
is up someone to save the day and bring purpose and meaning back to their
lethargic town and their own absurd lives.

Greg Kalleres is a 1998 graduate of Tisch's Dramatic Writing Program at NYU.
He has been produced in New York as well as Los Angeles. He also received
the Certificate of Excellence from the Kennedy Center's Full-length Play
Competition for his play Judge Mo. His other plays include Sex and
Tupperware, Lesbians and Science Fairs, Mad, My Africa (Moving Arts Premiere
One-Act Festival, 1999) and Fiction.

The reading of MEANWHILE BACK AT THE SUPERLAIR will be held at Moving Arts'
mainstage at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, 514 South Spring St. in
downtown Los Angeles. There is ample parking in the gated lot at 6th and
Main, just behind the theatre. Mention Moving Arts and the parking guy will
look at you funny.

Admission is free. Reservations are not required. A discussion will follow
the reading.

Hope to see you there!

Trey
