Re: RAT We're looking for some expertise in how to start a new theater
You questions are so theoretical that I'm afraid that it seems more like
an academic questionnaire (or a reporter's background research) than an
actual request for information.
However....
Here are some questions for you that will make my task (in answering)
easier:
- Are you talking about theater production company (no space of its own)
or theater with its own space?
- What type of material are you going to be performing? ("Anything and
everything" doesn't help.)
- Are you aiming for a particular audience demographic (some audiences
require comfortable chairs)
- Are you to be a producing or a presenting theater?
- How large does the performance space need to be?
- Is there to be an in-house company or mostly production to production?
Cheers,
